Mississippi State football coach Sylvester Croom says left tackle Derek Sherrod will play in tomorrow's game against Southeastern Louisiana but won't start. Sherrod, who missed last week's opener because of an infection on his foot, saw some action in Thursday's practice after only jogging in Wednesday's practice. Croom plans to start Mark Melichar at left tackle and Quentin Saulsberry at right tackle, just as he did in last week's 22-14 loss at Louisiana Tech.
