A gas explosion near the University of West Alabama basketball gymnasium has caused the cancellation of tonight's UWA vs. Valdosta State games.
The Tigers were to close out a three-game homestand at Pruitt Hall, but the gas line explosion has shut down the campus until Monday. There is no word on when or if the women's and men's games will be rescheduled.
West Alabama plays at West Florida on Saturday, with the women's team to meet at 2 p.m. and the men to play at 4.
