Raises and contract extensions are in the works for three Mississippi assistant football coaches.
The State College Board's agenda lists the three as offensive coordinator Kent Austin, defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix and offensive line coach Mike Markuson.
Austin's salary would increase from $290,000 per year to $300,000 and his contract would be extended through the end of 2010. Nix's salary would increase from $350,000 to $355,000 and his contract extended through the end of 2011.
Markuson's salary would increase from $300,000 per year to $305,000 and his contract also would be extended through the end of 2011.
Ole Miss defeated Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl after a 9-4 record this past season.
