NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Candace Rucker scored 13 of her 15 points in the last 10 minutes and Southern Mississippi beat Marshall 64-56 on Saturday in the semifinals of the Conference USA tournament.
The third-seeded Lady Eagles (20-11) will play fifth seed Central Florida in the championship game Sunday.
Southern Miss trailed 50-39 midway through the second half when it switched to a full-court press and took the momentum. Seventh-seeded Marshall committed 12 turnovers afterward, including one that Rucker converted into the tying score and another that set up Southern Miss' Pauline Love for the go-ahead basket with 1:21 left.
Andrea Barber scored 12 points for the Lady Eagles, while Love chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds.
Tynikki Crook led Marshall (17-15) with 15 points and 11 rebounds, but had only one basket after Southern Miss began to pressure on defense.
