NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Emma Cannon scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Central Florida won the Conference USA tournament with a 65-54 overtime victory over Southern Mississippi on Sunday.
Chelsie Wiley scored 18 points for fifth-seeded UCF (17-16), which started the season 2-11 but rebounded to win their league's automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.
Wiley hit four 3s during regulation and a crushing pull-up jumper for a 59-53 lead with just over a minute to go in overtime, and the Knights piled on one another at half court after the final buzzer sounded.
