Lincoln County Coroner Clay McMorris says Debbie Furr, 51, died of a gun shot wound Saturday in a wooded area near her house.
McMorris says the death looked like a hunting accident, but the investigation is ongoing. He declined to say how her gun may have accidentally fired.
McMorris says Furr's husband, Bobby Furr, went searching for his wife Saturday afternoon when he couldn't reach her. He said Debbie Furr was dead when her husband found her.
