Head Coach Dan Mullen statement about Anthony Dixon...
"We're thankful this process has come to its conclusion, and I know Anthony is looking to move forward from here. Anthony has done everything the team has asked of him to this point, but he still has further responsibilities to his teammates. While the consequences for his actions from a legal standpointhave been met, he still has obligations to the Mississippi State football team that we will handle inside the football program."
"Again I apologize for my selfish actions and I understand the punishment that comes with it. My teammates and coaches have been supportive even though I've disappointed them. With this in the past, I can't forget the lessons I've learned. Now I have to start with a total focus on school and getting ready to play my senior season."
Coach Mullen and Anthony will have no further comments about this matter.
