Andy Hornsby, Vice President of the Auburn Alumni Association said all trustees should resign after the school's accreditation was put in jeopardy.
"They would have put any coach who put the football program on probation and they should fire themselves en masse," said Hornsby.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools said last week that Auburn violated standards that call for college trustees to set policy rather than manage day-to-day operations at the school and thus placed the school on one year probation.
The controversy stems from a November 20th trip that President William Walker, Athletic Director David Housel and two board of trustee members took to Kentucky to find a new football coach.
