Freshman Trevor Booker had a career high 21 points as Clemson won it's eighth straight N.I.T. home game, 89 to 68 over Ole Miss Monday night.
The Rebels were trying to extend their first postseason appearance since 2002. But their high-scoring back-court of Clarence Sanders and Bam Doyne managed only 18 points, 13 fewer than their combined averages. Todd Abernenthy led Ole Miss with 18 points.
Ole Miss, the SEC West Division co-champions, ended its first season under Coach Andy Kennedy with a record of 21 and 13.
