SCOOBA --- Randall Mackey threw a long touchdown pass early on to put East Mississippi ahead of Jones County, and the Lions didn't look back as EMCC beat the Bobcats 26-16 in the semi-finals of the MACJC state playoffs. The Lions will host their first ever state championship contest next Saturday in Scooba, with the kickoff set for 2 PM. EMCC will play either Mississippi Gulf Coast or Coahoma in the title game.
