Chancellor Elected to Hall of Fame

Former Ole Miss women's basketball coach Van Chancellor has been selected for induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Chancellor, a 63-year-old Winston County native, coached for Ole Miss for 19 seasons, guiding the Lady Rebels to 43 wins and 14 NCAA Tournament appearances.
He also coached the Houston Comets to the first four WNBA championships before retiring earlier this year.
Chancellor also led the United States Olympic team to the gold medal in Athens in 2004.
