McCleon Inks With Texans

The Houston Texans have re-signed eight players, including Meridian native Dexter McCleon.
The veteran cornerback appeared in every game for Houston last season and had 28 tackles and one interception. McCleon has spent ten seasons in the NFL, which also included stints at St. Louis and Kansas City.
He led Meridian to a state championship in 1992 and was a second round draft pick out of Clemson in 1997.
