Kelly Johnson hit a two-run homer to help Atlanta complete a season-opening sweep of Philadelphia 8-4.
The Braves roughed up Phillies starter Adam Eaton for eight runs and seven hits in four and two-thirds innings.
Atlanta put the game away with a six-run fifth inning. Johnson got the rally going with his home run and Scott Thorman finished it with a two-run double.
Chuck James got the win by giving up a run on six hits in five innings.
Atlanta is off to a 3-and-0 start to a season for the first time since 1994.
Arizona 4, Washington 3
The Arizona Diamondbacks grabbed an early 4-0 lead in a 4-3 triumph at Washington.
Chris Young put the D-Backs ahead to stay with a two-run single in the first before Conor Jackson walked with the bases loaded later in the inning. Orlando Hudson added a solo homer in the third inning to give Arizona a four-run cushion.
Dmitri Young hit a solo homer and a double for the Nats, who went 0-for-13 with runners in scoring position.
Edgar Gonzalez picked up the victory, giving up two runs on seven hits while striking out seven in five innings. Jose Valverde nailed down his second save with a hitless ninth.
Losing pitcher Jason Bergmann was tagged for four runs in three and two-thirds innings.
