Chancellor Takes LSU Post

LSU has hired Van Chancellor to run its women's basketball program.
Chancellor was the women's coach at Ole Miss from 1978 to 1997 before leading the WNBA Houston Comets to four straight league championships from '97 to 2000.
He also coached the U.S. Women to a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics and has a 38 and 0 record in international competition.
Chancellor replaces Pokey Chatman, who resigned last month amid allegations of inappropriate conduct with a former LSU player.
