Both private and public memorial services are scheduled for St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Josh Hancock.
The private service is Wednesday and the public service is set for Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Tupelo, Miss., at First United Methodist Church.
Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow seating will be available with audio and video services.
The former Auburn University and Vestavia Hills (Ala.) High School pitcher was a key member of the bullpen that helped the Cardinals win the 2006 World Series.
Hancock, who was 29, was killed early Sunday in St. Louis when his SUV struck the back of a tow truck that was assisting a driver from a previous accident on the interstate.
