MHS Standouts Ink Scholarships

Meridian High School baseball standout Daniel Covert inked a scholarship to play with head coach Corky Palmer and the Golden Eagles of Southern Mississippi.
This past season, the Wildcat left-fielder carried a hefty .544 batting average and was named an All-Division player.
Meanwhile, four Meridian High football stars also signed.
Allen Coleman is headed to East Mississippi Community College in Scooba while Rodney Warren signed with Alcorn State.
Two Wildcats, Walter Taylor and Isaih Lewis, are headed to play for Delta State.
