Michael Ewing hit a three-run homer and had four RBIs to lead Southern Mississippi to an 8-4 victory over Marshall Friday.
Ryan Belanger gave up one run on three hits and struck out four batters in seven innings to get the victory for Southern Miss.
Brian Chrisman, who gave up five runs in 2.1 innings, took the loss for Marshall.
