Rebels Lose in the 9th

Andy Simunic singled in the bottom of the ninth to give Tennessee a 3-2 win over Ole Miss Friday.

The Vols only connected for three hits in the game. They entered the bottom of the ninth down by one run.

Ole Miss reliever Cody Satterwhite struck out six of seven before the ninth. He then walked in a run after giving up four straight bases on balls.

J.P. Arencibia also had an RBI single for Tennessee.

Vols reliever Aaron Everett earned the win after striking out three and giving up one hit in 1.1 innings.

Satterwhite was charged the loss, having given up the two runs and five walks.
