KA Wins MPSA Overall Slow-Pitch Title

12 MPSA softball teams converged on Brookhaven Saturday with the same goal of winning the Overall Slow-Pitch State title. Of those dozen teams, Kemper Academy left with the championship.

The Lady Rams defeated defending champion Parklane Academy 5-3 in the championship game. KA also beat East Rankin, Adams County Christian, and Amite en route to the school's first ever overall state title.
