West Lauderdale Takes State Crown

West Lauderdale has captured a record 11th baseball championship, but it's first in Class 4A.
Wednesday in Pearl, the Knights knocked off Terry 7 to 3 to capture the Class 4A crown.
It capped off a remarkable year for West Lauderdale, which went wire to wire as Mississippi's number one team. They also are currently ranked number three nationally by USA Today.
Back in March, Coach Boatner's wife passed away, making the past several weeks bitter-sweet.
