MHS Announces 2007 Football Schedule

The 2007 high school football season is just over 90 days away.

It will be quite a home slate in the fall for the Meridian Wildcats. MHS will play 6 of its 11 football games this season at Ray Stadium.

The first of which will be against Northeast Lauderdale. The Trojans, along with the West Lauderdale Knights, have agreed to a two-year deal with Meridian. Ray Stadium will be the site of both matchups both years. The schools will split the gate.

Also coming to Meridian this season is the Class 4A defending champion Wayne County War Eagles. The Wildcats will then host Hattiesburg.

Homecoming is set for October 19 against Brandon and then the regular season will conclude at home on November 9 against Terry.

September 21 - West Lauderdale - 7:00 p.m.

October 12 - Oak Grove* - 7:00 p.m.
