Lance Lynn pitched five no-hit innings to start the contest and finished with a complete-game two-hitter as Mississippi beat Southern Miss 4-0 Saturday in the NCAA Oxford regional.
Jordan Henry added four hits as the Rebels (39-23) advanced to the championship game of the regional.
Southern Miss (39-22) will play Sam Houston State Sunday in an elimination game.
The winner will take on Ole Miss later Sunday.
Lynn (8-4) picked up the win despite bouts of wildness.
He walked the bases full in the second inning and finished with a career-high five walks, but had seven strikeouts.
Henry also had a run and an RBI.
Cody Overbeck and Jordan Henry added run-scoring hits as the Rebels scored single runs in the first, third, fourth and sixth innings.
Barry Bowden (7-4) took the loss for Southern Mississippi, surrendering eight hits and striking out three.
The Golden Eagles had two early errors that led to two unearned runs.
