The Mississippi Association of Coaches will host the 33rd Annual All-Star baseball games June 9 at Trustmark Park, and over a dozen area players were selected to play in this year's event.
Class 1A, 2A and 3A will play together. Representing the South team are Newton County's Kyle Buckley and Brandon Williams, Jason Judge from Lake High School and Kevin Moore of Southeast Lauderdale.
In the opposing dugout for the North will be Philadelphia's Coker Fulton. First pitch is set to fly at 1:00 in this matchup.
Then at 6:00, they will play the class 4A and 5A game. For the South, it's Wayne County's Cade Clanton and Meridian High School's Lindsey Spinks.
Jeremy Barnacastle of Northeast Lauderdale was one of 6 local players picked for the North. He will team up with Louisville's Clint Coleman, West Lauderdale's Austin Davis, Cody Freeman and Paxton Pace, and Tyler Nicholson from Neshoba Central.
