For the first time since 1998, Mississippi State will play at the College World Series in Omaha.
The Bulldogs earned the trip by sweeping Clemson over the weekend at a Super Regional in Starkville.
The two-day Super Regional drew a record crowd of over 26,000 to Dudy Noble Field.
The Diamond Dogs will now meet North Carolina Friday night at Rosenblatt Stadium. The contest is set for 6:00PM (CST) and will be nationally televised by ESPN2.
The other two teams in MSU's bracket are Rice and Louisville.
