MSU Draws North Carolina at College World Series

For the first time since 1998, Mississippi State will play at the College World Series in Omaha.

The Bulldogs earned the trip by sweeping Clemson over the weekend at a Super Regional in Starkville.

The two-day Super Regional drew a record crowd of over 26,000 to Dudy Noble Field.

The Diamond Dogs will now meet North Carolina Friday night at Rosenblatt Stadium. The contest is set for 6:00PM (CST) and will be nationally televised by ESPN2.

The other two teams in MSU's bracket are Rice and Louisville.
