Mississippi State is in Omaha getting ready for their first appearance in the College World Series.
The Diamond Dogs will face off against North Carolina Friday night at 6 p.m.
State has been seeded number six while the Tarheels are the three seed.
Junior left-hander Justin Pigott will get the start on the mound for MSU. He's 2 and 0 in State's undefeated run in the NCAA Tournament.
The contest will be nationally televised by ESPN2.
