Right-hander pitcher Josh Johnson signed with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and will report to the Hudson Valley Renegades Friday. He could pitch as early as this weekend.
State's all-time hits leader Jeffrey Rea is headed to the Chicago Cubs organization. He is expected to report to the Mesa, Arizona Cubs on Tuesday. Mitch Moreland and Edward Easley were also drafted, but have not decided to sign yet.
