Grimes Captures State-Am Title

Congratulations go out to Virginia Grimes of Meridian, who won the Mississippi Women's State Amateur golf championship Thursday.
Grimes, a native of York, Alabama and a former Auburn standout, defeated former Mississippi State golfer Ashleigh Korzack for the title.
The State-Am contest was at the Clarksdale Country Club.
