Easley Captures Top Award

Mississippi State's Ed Easley has won the Johnny Bench Award as the top catcher in college baseball.
Easley, who signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks Thursday, started all 60 games for the Bulldogs this season. He had 12 home runs and threw out 29 of 50 runners attempting to steal.
In May, he won the Boo Ferris Award as the top baseball player in Mississippi.
