Officials at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in Jackson say tickets are now on sale for this year's induction ceremonies that will take place July 27th.
Meridian native Lou Hart will be one of five new inductees. Hart, a nine-time state amateur champion, was head coach at Meridian Community College for 12 years. She will join her father Hunter George Weddington as the Hall of Fame's first father-daughter inductees.
Joining Hart in the Class of 2007 will be 87-year-old basketball coaching legend Troy Ricks of Wheeler, former Jackson State football All-American Robert Brazile, former Mississippi Valley and NFL great Jerry Rice and Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer George "Boomer" Scott.
Tickets are now on sale at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in Jackson.
Festivities will take place Friday and Saturday, July 27th and 28th.
