The Cincinnati Reds completed a series sweep of the Braves in Atlanta the hard way. They didn't pull out the 5-4 win until the 15th inning and then had to hold off a Braves comeback.

The Reds' Brandon Phillips singled home two runs off rookie Jose Ascanio in the top of the 15th. The Braves scored a run in the bottom of the inning when Jeff Francouer singled in Andruw Jones, but pinch hitter Kyle Davies, a pitcher, struck out to end the game with runners on first and second.

Michael Gosling got the win. Ascanio took the loss for his first decision.

It was the Reds' first sweep of the Braves in Atlanta since 1990.
