Two local Junior College players will suit up for the West Alabama Lady Tigers next season.
East Central's Valerie Harris has signed with UWA. She was a 1st team All-State and All-Region player, as well as being named to a Mississippi JUCO All-Star basketball team.
Harris averaged nearly 20 points per game, along with just over six rebounds.
East Mississippi Community College's Danielle Baldwin will also play for Amanda Marks in 2007-08.
Baldwin was also a Mississippi JUCO All-Star.
She averaged 16 points per game with nearly 4 boards.
