Pistons Ink McDyess

The Detroit Pistons have signed Antonio McDyess to a two-year contract extension that will keep the team's top reserve off the free-agent market next summer.
McDyess' career once was in doubt because of knee operations, but he has played in a career-high 82 games in each of the last two seasons.
The 32-year-old Quitman native and former Alabama star averaged eight points and six rebounds per outing this past season and finished fourth in voting for the sixth man of the year award.
