Still at 753.

Barry Bonds went 1-for-4 without a homer in the San Francisco Giants' 4-2 win over Atlanta. Bonds left the game for a pinch-hitter after blooping a seventh-inning double, leaving him two behind Hank Aaron's all-time record.

The Braves led 2-0 until Dave Roberts delivered a two-run double in the fifth before scoring on Ray Durham's single. That was enough offense for rookie Tim Lincecum to improve to 6-2.

Lincecum allowed six hits in as many innings, blanking the Braves after Jeff Francoeur's two-run homer in the fourth.

The Giants' bullpen followed with three innings of two-hit ball. Brad Hennessey got the final three outs for his eighth save.

Buddy Carlyle dropped to 5-3, allowing four runs and nine hits in 5.2 innings.

The loss keeps the Braves four games behind the NL East-leading New York Mets.
