Wall Holds Off Breazeale For MSCCS Topless Win

The "Intimigator" Chris Wall of Holden, Louisiana lead flag to flag and held off numerous challenges from David Breazeale winning the MSCCS (Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series) Topless 50 Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park.

"The car was getting tighter and tighter throughout the race," Wall
said. "A few more laps and we may have finished second or third."

David Beazeale of Four Corners, MS finished in the runner-up spot
with David Ashley of Zachary, LA finishing third.

Wall claimed fast time out of 25 Super Late Models with a 13.27. Also
during time trails Bill Hasselle of Meridian, ended his night early after
walking away from a wild flip in turn one.

Jimmy Cliburn of Star, MS won the first of two MSCCS B mains, with
younger brother Jason Cliburn winning the second B main.

David Breazeale won the B & K Under Ground Dash for Cash giving him
the poll position for the MSCCS feature race.

In other local action Greg Dedwylder won his
first career StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series
Late Model feature. This was only Gregs second time in a Late
Model. Lately he has been running UMP Modified.

"I drove someone elses Late Model in Columbus one time before
tonight" Dedwylder said. "I got one for myself and stayed up all last
night getting the car ready to race tonight."

Larry Murphy finished in the runner up spot with Talbert Goldman
finishing third.

Ben Stephens held off several challenges from Andy Pippin to win
the UMP Modified feature. Pippin finished second with Randy King third.

Kyle Rutledge of Whynot started seventh and took the lead with one
lap to go winning the Street Stock feature over second place Ben Byram.
Kevin Reeves started 10th and finished third.

Robert Underwood won the Mini Stock feature over second place Joe
Ulmer and Third place finisher Brian Quinn.

Next Saturday night Whynot will be back in action with a regular
weekly racing event. Coming up August the 11th the Cajun Sprinters will
make their way back to the "Action Track of the South". For more
