Kevin Reeves of Whynot took the lead on the last lap over James "Biscuit" Elfring of Quitman winning the Heavy Metal Street Stock feature. Elfring finished second with Jeffery Walker finishing third.
Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba MS, won the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series Late Model feature Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park.
Chris Jimerson of Butler, AL took the early lead, but couldn't hold off Lucky Keeton as he took the lead on lap two.
Keeton held off Jimerson and Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL the first half of the feature event. Then pulled away cruising to the win. Mosley finished second with Jimerson third.
Andy Pippin of Meridian won the UMP Modified feature race over second place Randy King and third place finisher Kyle Rutledge.
In earlier Modified heat race action, Ben Stephens walked away from a wild ride in turn one flipping his car while leading the race. "I got by Pippin for the lead and I knew I had to flat foot it to stay ahead of him" Stephens said. "I went into turn one and hit the cushion and it just turned me over. It totaled the car".
Jennifer Shelton took home the Mini Stock feature. Shelton took the lead on lap Two and held off a hard charging Joe Ulmer at the finish line. Bill Bunyard finished third.
It didn't take long for James "Biscuit" Elfring and Sarah Mercer to start a new winning streak as they won the Two Man Cruiser feature.
Whynot will be back in action this Saturday night August 11th, as the Cajun Sprinters make their return to the "Action Track of the South".
