Shane Morgan of Biloxi, MS won the Cajun Sprinter feature race Saturday in an exciting night of racing at Whynot Motorsports Park.
Morgan took the lead over Brandon Olsen of Denham Springs, LA midway through the feature race and cruised to the win.
"I knew I had a faster car and I patiently waited for Brandon to make a mistake," said Morgan.
Olsen finished second with Willie Stauffer Jr. of Mobile, AL coming from deep in the field to finish third.
Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS made it two in a row winning the weekly StormPay.com Late Model feature. Dallas Mazingo of Laurel, Wiley Williams of Quitman and "Ironman" Brandon Keeton of Toomsuba were involved in a heated race long battle for second. Mazingo finished second, with Williams third. Hard charger Steve Bryan of Collinsville came from 16th to finish fourth.
Mr. Excitement Andy Pippin of Meridian picked up his second win in a row taking home the UMP Modified feature over second place Randy King of
Meridian, with Quitman's Johnny Hughes finishing third.
James "Biscuit" Elfring of Quitman held off a hard charging Jeffrey Walker of Whynot and Kyle Rutledge of Whynot to win the Heavy Metal Street Stock feature.
Elfring took the lead after an early three wide battle with Walker and Rutledge on lap three and Held on to take the win with Walker finishing second and Rutledge third.
Joe Ulmer took the lead and never looked back cruising to the Mini Stock feature. Jennifer Shelton made a last lap pass to take second over third place finishing Victor Long.
James "Biscuit" Elfring and Sarah Mercer made it two in a row this week winning the Two Man Cruiser feature.
