Jeffery Walker of Whynot earned his way to victory in a wild feature race in the Heavy Metal Street Stock division Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park.

James "Biscuit" Elfring of Quitman, MS took the early lead while trying to hold off a hard charging Jeffery Walker. Elfring bounced off the wall in turn three on lap six slowing him down just enough for Walker to dash into the lead.

But Elfring wasn't done, by the next lap Elfring and walker would race side by side until six laps remaining, Elfrings car would begin to smoke bringing out a caution ending his night.

On the restart Joe McHan Jr. of Meridian Took the lead briefly over Walker in turns one and two, only to see Walker regain the lead down the
backstretch.

At the finish it was Jeffrey Walker taking the win, While Joe McHan Jr. took second by a fender over third place finsher Kyle Rutledge. 14 year old Eric Mazingo of Butler AL, started 15th and worked his way to a solid 5th place finish.

Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS took the early lead in the Weekly StormPay.com Late Model feature and looked to have an easy win, until lap traffic came into play on lap 10 allowing Chad Thrash of Meridian and Talbert Goldman of Meridian to reel Keeton in with two laps remaining.

At the finish line it was Keeton hanging on for the win. Goldman got passed Thrash on the last lap to claim second with Thrash finishing third.

Gregg Hollingsworth of Lake, MS took the lead over "Mr. Excitement" Andy Pippin of Meridian midway through the race and won the UMP modified feature. Pippin finished second with Brian Chaney finishing third.
