Former Meridian Community College baseball coach Chad Caillet has joined the coaching staff at Southern Miss.
Caillet was an assistant at MCC for four years before taking over the Eagle ballclub in 2005.
In his one season as head coach, the Southern Miss alum posted a 44-12 mark and finished with the only undefeated home record in school history.
Caillet will be the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator in Hattiesburg.
