David Wright's two-run home run sparked the New York Mets to a 3-2 win over Atlanta. Mets starter Tom Glavine got his first win in four tries this season against good friend and former teammate John Smoltz.
Glavine improved to 12-6 by giving up a run on five hits in six innings. Smoltz was tagged for three runs on nine hits in seven innings and fell to 12-7.
The Mets' sweep dropped Atlanta 7.5 games behind New York for first in the National League East.
