The news for former Wayne County football star Willie Evans wasn't too bright Saturday, but he was signed to the Saints practice squad on Sunday.
After New Orleans cut 13 players from the roster Saturday, they turned around and signed seven of them to the practice squad.
Evans was among those, along with quarterback Tyler Palko.
