Mississippi State coach Sylvester Croom said Monday he won't be hesitant to make a switch at quarterback if starter Michael Henig struggles again.
Henig threw six interceptions in that 45-nothing loss to second ranked LSU last Thursday.
Backup John Riddell, who was suspended last week for a DUI arrest, may see playing time this week against Tulane.
Croom gave Henig the starting job midway through his freshman year and his performance has varied in ten starts.
His career touchdown to interception ratio is now nine to 21.
