Ryan Church hit a three-run home run and D'Angelo Jimenez drove in three runs with three hits as Washington beat Atlanta 7-4. The loss puts the finishing touches on a 4-5 homestand for the Braves, who remain in the hunt for the playoff berth.
Jason Bergmann was the winner and is 4-and-5 while Lance Cormier falls to 2-5. Chad Cordero worked the ninth for the Nationals and picked up his 32nd save.
