Shaun Alexander carried the ball 27 times for 105 yards and a score as Seattle opened up the 2007 season with a 20-6 win over Tampa Bay. Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck also connected on a score as he completed 17 of 24 passes for 222 yards.
Jeff Garcia made his debut with the Bucs but left the game after being hit in the third quarter. He returned in the fourth quarter and finished with 19 completions but no scores.
