MSU Gaining Confidence

On the college football scene, Mississippi State has some evidence to back up their confident talk.
The Bulldogs feel they showed with Saturday's 19 to 14 win at Auburn that their downtrodden program is making significant process under fourth year coach Sylvester Croom.
Meanwhile, MSU defensive back Derek Pegues was named the SEC defensive player of the week.
Pegues returned an interception for a touchdown and made five tackles in the win.
Mississippi State, now 2 and 1 on the season, will host Gardner Webb this Saturday night at Scott Field.
