Polk Blasts NCAA--Again

Veteran Mississippi State Baseball Coach Ron Polk has renewed his anti-NCAA campaign with an 18-page letter.
Among other things, the letter rails against recent rule changes in college baseball.
He sent it this past week to a group of more than 1400 people, ranging from university presidents to Major League Baseball general managers.
Polk's mission: informing them about how various rule changes will adversely affect college baseball.
Polk has been at odds with the NCAA since the early 1980's.
