Southern Miss' Britt Barefoot has been named to a national watch list for the Ray Guy Award.
The trophy, which is named for the former USM punter, is given to the best athlete in that position throughout the NCAA.
The Laurel native is averaging 43 yards per punt, but is not ranked nationally because he has too few kicks.
