Auburn Surprises No. 24 Ole Miss, 30-22

OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss had a chance late in the fourth quarter down one possession against Auburn, but the comeback fell short, as The Tigers held on for a 30-22 win at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Nick Marshall ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns, Robenson Therezie scored on a 78-yard interception return to lead Auburn to its first win over a Top 25 team in two years.

Marshall's second scoring run gave Auburn a 27-9 lead in the third quarter. The Tigers lost two turnovers in the fourth quarter to help the Ole Miss comeback attempt.

Ole Miss was held to only three field goals before Bo Wallace threw a 49-yard touchdown pass to Donte Moncrief in the third quarter and added a 12-yard scoring pass to Moncrief midway through the fourth quarter.

The Rebels fell to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the SEC as they get set to return home to the friendly confines of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for their next six games.

Ole Miss will face Texas A&M and last year's Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, next Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
