Bama Misses Tournament Cut, Takes #1 Seed in NIT

For Alabama, making it to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament wasn't enough to earn a bid to the big dance.

The Montgomery Advertisor reports the Tide finished the season with no victories against foes from the nation's RPI top 50.

Anthony Grant's sqaud will hold a NIT number one seed as they play Northeastern in tuscaloosa on tuesday.
