Friday's "Big Dawg Day" on the practice fields of Mississippi State University sent shock waves through the world of college football recruiting.
Rivals.com and the Clarion-Ledger confirms at least seven high school prospects gave verbal commitments to the Bulldogs on Friday, including Bassfield safety Jamal Peters, who is considered to be one of Mississippi's top prospects. According to the Clarion-Ledger, Peters listed his top five prospective schools in early July, placing Alabama at the top of the list.
However, on Friday, he tweeted, "I am a bulldog."
